Chickens are everywhere on Kauai. We have several families who hang out in front of our unit. They come right up to the door.

Our second unit at Pono kai
Saturday morning we moved into a two bedroom unit in a different building... still along the beach front. We aren't totally sure why this move was necessary but, hey... we got new towels, clean sheets, etc. 
This is taken from our patio door. A 5 mile walkway passes right in front of our resort.
